[...] "The purpose of our lives is to be happy". [...] Dalai Lama
the dirt was dug
rocks arranged for tiny feet
grandma's backyard
fossils, rocks and goldfish pond
the best kind of happy
freckles
blue eyes smiling say in love
your yard is cute
melting heart in grandma's chest
as they go search for fireflys

ReplyDeleteAhhh, there's some Love with the capital 'ell' in that happiness! YAM xx
Yes, I just melt into those deep, dark blue eyes of the youngest grandson.
DeleteYou do have a lovely garden...lucky grand kids. !
ReplyDeleteThanks, only it is not mine any more as we sold the place to move closer to the grandchildren.
DeleteWhat a wonderful garden you have. Those tanka are beauties too
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kristjaan. It took many years to develop. Then it became more difficult to maintain to my standards as husband and I aged. The garden belongs to someone else, now.
DeleteJoy found with grandchildren and gardens! Perfect!
ReplyDeleteYes, perfect.
DeleteWhat a lovely garden and your haiku blossoms are so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYou are so kind. The small back yard garden was a real retreat except when it came time to rebuild something!
