Image
Carpe Diem #1343 The Story of the Greek King and the physician Douban "..What the Greek king said excited the vizir’s curiosity, and he said to him, “Sire, I beg your majesty to have the condescension to tell me what the vizir said to King Sindbad.” “This vizir,” he replied, “told King Sindbad that one ought not believe everything that a mother-in-law says, and told him this story.” .. " Oh, dear.  I am a MIL.  Is my tongue not to be trusted?  In the swirl of today's sex scandals is King Sindbad's saying a truth or another slap at women?  In this story the Greek King is speaking to a man.  A jealous man that was speaking against the physician who had cured the king.   truth shines on spite's darkness wisdom takes flight ©    petra domina Thanks to Chèvrefeuille for daily prompts on CARPE DIEM HAIKU KAI

New Style or Just The Same Old Me

Image
At the request of a couple of blogger friends, here is a photo of the refreshed hair after the much needed hair cut. So that is how it is here in Central Texas this morning.  We are on our way to have one last gift opening with our grandsons.  They have been with their mother's side of the family since before Christmas.  They will have all sorts of skiing stories to tell.  Looking forward to time with the family.  Ya'll all have a good afternoon. In peace, Janice
