Carpe Diem Writing and Enjoying Haiku #6 new ways T his has been the year when Hubby and I along with a whole bunch of other folks celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary . We actually started the celebration back at the end of June, our actual 'date'. It continued with a trip to France. Returning home we began working on The Party that was delayed till the grandsons returned from a summer in Canada. As we have friends our own ages, they, too, are celebrating 50 years. That means more trips. Unexpected strength of hurricane Harvey resulted in Hubby and I choosing to downsize even more. And how do two people stay together for 50 years of marriage? Well, forgiveness, understanding and a willingness to step together into the unknown of new ways. fifty years with the same man always something new keeps me guessing what's next? © petra domina Thanks to Chèvrefeuille for daily prompts on CARPE DIEM HAIKU KAI

We noticed just this week the leaves are losing the green. there is not usually much coloring here in Texas. Back in Missouri it could be really outstanding some years. No, you probably have not missed much, I have not been doing a lot. Dizziness and neck issues and now something has happened to the tendons or somethin in my leg.
