I read once that it was hard to hold a smile long enough for the camera to capture it. Early cameras required really long exposures! BTW one of the departments I worked in was named 'Camera'. We took pictures of the oversized circuit boards that were 4:1 or 2:1 ratio. We then reduced them down to the actual size required for building the boards.
