  2. I'm voting to head right on into winter myself. :) It has been as hot at 113 degrees here today. I'm melting.

    Your poem is very nice. We've been hearing lots of cicada songs lately. I guess they are melting, too!

    1. Especially here in Texas where winter is a few 30 degree days. We lived 38 years in Missouri where my husband grew up. The heat and dry surely stress him!
