    seeking the shade ...love this image. With the unusual heat we are not accustomed to this past summer, I was searching trees by the lake and just a tiny breeze would soothe me even if it were just a moment

      I have been waiting till dark to do my walking because the heat is so oppressive. Even then it is still close to 90 F some nights.

      There are so many live oaks down here that have trunks about 4 feet in diameter. They are beautiful trees.

Carpe Diem Theme Week #4 (5 & 6): Latifa Prayer lines 4 & 5 "I believe and I trust" & "I let go" Introduction: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Both lines are in the middle of the Latifa Prayer and that's no coincidence I think, because these two lines belong (in a way) together.  To "let go", you have to "believe and trust" that it will become okay.
