    Love this Janice - I have seen too many places where the plants of departed homelands have been transplanted and become a menace to the adopted locality. Meanwhile, here in its native land, "whin" adorns the banks and braes with the only approximation of sunlight those very slopes can expect to see! (...a little ungenerous perhaps, but 95% true &*>) YAM xx

    1. In the States we have even invasive fish choking out the local species. Lady Bird Johnson started the plant wildflowers on the roadways back in the 1960's so this is just such a help!
