Carpe Diem #1079 folding paper

Recently our bonus granddaughter celebrated her 16th birthday with a big bash.  Weeks of preparation went into the planning, purchasing and implementing of the party.  A glow in the dark party with a circle theme.  One of the projects was folded fan circles.  A couple of evenings spent folding, folding and more folding of 8.5" x 11" glow paper. Next was gluing.  Cutting the pleated folds for different sizes.  Finally turning the folded rectangles into circles with the help of more glue.  The fans made a great accent for several posters!  And the effort help bring our blended family into a closer circle.

Thanks to Chèvrefeuille for daily prompts on

CARPE DIEM HAIKU KAI

Which, also explains why I missed a few prompt deadlines!  Little circles all hand cut!
