Carpe Diem #1014 dawn

[...] "Faith is the bird that feels the light when the dawn is still dark." [...]
Rabindranath Tagore

Near our home is a stack of flyover bridges connecting two major highways.  When travelling on any of the series of bridges one feels only the movement of the vehicle.  Unfortunately that particular series of intersections is a notorious bottleneck.  Frequently, one will find yourself creeping across the long spans.  As vehicles pass under the bridges a slight vibration can be felt.  This vibration is common on all the overpass bridges ... I find it very unnerving.  And yet tomorrow I will climb in my car and drive over bridge after bridge after overpass....

  2. A very interesting connection between prose and haiku, really quite stunning. The concept of the haiku is brilliant, so good.
